Experience

In 2000 Soler established his own private practice, concentrating on the local and federal litigation of cases of torts, medical malpractice, injuries during birth, cerebral palsy, severe and permanent physical, mental and emotional damages. In other cases, Soler has represented in commercial transactions, corporate and insurance law. Since he began his private practice, Soler’s legal career has been accentuated by court judgements, verdicts and settlements in the millions of dollars.

Soler is licensed to practice law in the Supreme Court of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, U.S. District Court for the District of Puerto Rico, U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit, Supreme Court for the United States, State of Illinois and Washington DC. Soler is the state representative of the American Association for Justice and a frequent speaker and provider of continuous legal education.

Legal Milestones

Without a doubt, Soler derives its success from his clients’ successes. A renowned and successful lawyer in Puerto Rico, Soler enjoys facing the biggest and complicated cases. Since law school, he was exposed to complex state and federal civil cases, which included the Río Piedras Explosion Litigation, the Castano Tobacco Multi District Litigation, Castaño Safe Gun Multi District Litigation and the Dupont Plaza Litigation during the post-trial proceedings.

Since then, Soler has successfully litigated, in representation of his clients, many state and federal cases, obtaining numerous judgments and favorable settlements.

Legal Practice

Soler’s legal practice concentrates on two main areas. First, he is a trial lawyer in state and federal cases involving damages, medical malpractice, insurance, commercial and corporate litigation. Second, Soler is a professor to other lawyers as a provider of the continuing legal education program.

Education

Attorney Soler-Muñiz obtained his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in International Trade and a minor degree in Finance from the St. Thomas University in Miami, Florida, where he graduated with a 3.70 GPA, receiving a distinction from the Dean’s National List. He graduated Cum Laude from the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico, School of Law in San Juan, Puerto Rico, where he participated in the Law Review and founded the Notary Academic Body.

Attorney Soler is license to practice law at the Supreme Court for the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, the U.S District Court for the District of Puerto Rico, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit, the Supreme Court of the United States, the State of Illinois and Washington DC.

Associations

Attorney Soler is the representative of the American Association for Justice in Puerto Rico. He is also a member of the American Bar Association, Federal Bar Association and the Puerto Rico Bar in Chicago, Illinois.
